Unlike some gyms, we don’t do drop-in workouts because of the individualized nature of our programs. Before ever picking up a weight on our training floor, you’ll meet with a Director of Training for a one-on-one meeting. You’ll do a functional movement screening, a body composition scan with our InBody, complete a short workout, and set some short and long-term goals. All of this helps us to create a foundation for your program, and build it from there.

I’d worked out for most of my life, but it was mostly dance oriented. I knew that as a post-menopausal woman, I needed to have weights in my life and maintain my muscle mass and hopefully gain a little muscle mass. From the owners down to the coaches, it’s a very positive atmosphere.

I came to Liven Up because I had been wanting to live a healthier lifestyle for a long time, but I knew I needed guidance. I was athlete growing up until I went to college. When I got there, I realized I didn’t know how to work out in a ’traditional’ gym setting, and I didn’t like working out by myself. I tried to force myself to go a few times over the years but didn’t enjoy it so it never stuck. I also struggled with my nutrition.
